Hey, I’m Fio
an award winning illustrative designer based in London.

I work across campaigns, editorial and cultural projects, helping organisations communicate complex ideas through bold, accessible visual language.

I’ve worked with clients including Tate, Converse and our beloved NHS, delivering illustrative design projects from concept to delivery. When relevant, my work can extend into live making and workshops creating space for shared experience when projects call for it.

About

What I Do

From billboards to small booklets, I translate culture, memory, and community into distinctive visuals that resonate. Working through a mixed-Black lens, I explore stories across collage, mixed media, textiles, and collected objects, creating spaces where they can be seen and heard.

I collaborate across sectors, producing work that blends insight with visual storytelling. Previous collaborations include Converse, Tate, Paul Smith, Dazed, the NHS, and It’s Nice That, alongside exhibitions such as my solo show What Belonging Holds (2025) at Fishtank Gallery.

Parallel to my artistic practice, I focus on education and engagement. Through my platform Zinetopia (since 2021), I have impacted over 1500 people through discussion-led, critical workshops, and I lecture part-time at Ravensbourne University. I also develop research-informed projects exploring creative methodologies that connect art with social and cultural contexts.

Whether I’m leading a workshop, illustrating for a campaign or developing a youth engagement project, I’m always thinking about how art can connect, challenge and invite people in.
